About Marc
Influenced by a tapestry of genres—from the simplicity of refined folk and old-time melodies to the complexities of jazz, blues, avant-garde, and rock 'n' roll—Marc discovered a passion for crafting stories and harmonizing melodies.
His journey as a musician began with a deep love for the guitar and later the mandolin, culminating in his graduation from the jazz program at The University of the Arts. It was here that Marc's passion for the written word and music converged, inspiring him to embark on his songwriting path in 2005.
Over the years, Marc has endeavored to produce seven albums of original American roots music, both as a solo artist and with his band, The Stonethrowers. He and his band have been showcased on prestigious stages such as The Philadelphia Folk Festival, The Sellersville Theater, and The Keswick Theater. Sharing the spotlight with legends in the bluegrass and Americana world, Marc has spent the past 17 years captivating audiences with his deeply personal tales and performances.
Marc's evocative storytelling and heartfelt melodies have found a home in a variety of film and television placements, curated through esteemed music licensing firms. His work, deeply rooted in personal and philosophical musings, continues to inspire and connect with listeners on a profound level.
